There's so much that's outside of our control when it comes to first impressions. How others perceive us (and how we perceive others) is based a great deal on biases, preferences, and past experiences. In some ways, a first impression has very little to do with the newcomer on the scene. And yet, making a good first impression is important no matter if you're at a networking event, giving a pitch, or being interviewed for a job. At this month's Networking Wednesday, we'll be discussing first impressions: what works for us, what we struggle with, and how we maintain our authenticity through it all.
Let's lift each other up, share resources, put forth ideas, provide feedback, and make connections.
Prior to this event, WIFVNE recommends that members update their Member Profile in the Member Directory, so connections can become collaborators!
