"Always remember: If you're alone in the kitchen and you drop the lamb, you can always just pick it up." --Julia Child

Watching HBO's newly launched Julia feels like a warm hug. Some of us may remember Julia from when she was on TV in the 60s and 70s while others may know her from the 2009 film Julie & Julia starring Meryl Streep.
We think the show is ripe for discussion. Julia's fight for her own career, the supporting, and supportive, cast of characters in her life, the role of women, in and out of the kitchen in the 1560s and 60s, and so much more. And of course, the FOOD and some of Julia's best one-liners.
Julia can be streamed on HBO Max every Thursday.
Grab a soda or glass of wine and join us for a lively conversation around Julia. Oh, and you'll probably want to bring a snack!
The Screen Club meets on the first Wednesday of each month, always featuring a different film, TV show, or mini-series.
We hope you'll join the CLUB! #SCREENCLUB
