KATIEDID LANGROCK is a seasoned television writer, screenwriter, game writer, columnist, and published author. She was the first person at MGA Entertainment to hold the title of Executive Story Supervisor and was in charge of story for all brands and IP. During her time at the toy company, she engaged in the development, world-building, and scriptwriting of games, films, and television series for brands such as Bratz, Lalaloopsy, Num Noms, L.O.L. Surprise, and the live-action Project Mc2, which earned Katiedid a trip to the Daytime Emmys when the show was nominated for Best Children’s Series. Since leaving MGA Entertainment in late 2016 to go freelance, Katiedid has been a writer, lead writer, and story editor for dozens of projects, both nationally and internationally, including developing and scriptwriting Berry Bees, which won the 2020 Diversity Media Award for Best Kids Series. She is currently story editor on a new animated show for Amazon Studios. Katiedid is proudest of the fact that everyone who hires her hires her again, including, but not limited to, Amazon, Mattel, Sesame Workshop, and the Oscar-winning production house Lion Forge Animation. Katiedid is most known for her strong character development, humor, emotional honesty, grounded twists, and ability to build and build upon worlds that emotionally connect with audiences.
