Awards will be presented to the finalists of the WIFV/NE Screenwriting Contest and the Emerson Spec Screenwriting Competition. Special guest screenwriter Diane Lake will speak about writing for film and her screenplay Frida. The event, the first of the WIF/GM Alliance's national college lectures to be held here in Boston, will include a Q&A session with Ms. Lake and an informal reception with refreshments.
