Women in Film & Video/New England is sponsored in part by a grant from the Massachusetts Cultural Council and the Women in Film/General Motors Alliance. The Women in Film/General Motors Alliance is a three-year national sponsorship program that was created to support women in the entertainment industry and to expand the programs of Women In Film chapters across the country. Some of the programs supported by the initiative include mentorships, scholarships, film funds, filmmaker grants, a college lecture series, PSAs, and Chapter events.
